Design Process
When researching and designing for this collection, I wanted to explore different draping silhouettes and styles. Since I was taking inspiration from the Brand Pierre, I looked to the 60s era of the space age, and I felt it should venture into a subsection of retro-futuristic fashion. That's when I looked towards the 70s style that can be tied into medieval as well.
I looked at archived pieces and studied the techniques and patterns. I also found that in more recent trends, I find that there is a resurgence of medieval motifs similar to the 2000s, but with more natural, deep colors and flowery styles.
